"The property is almost 100 years old with lots of history. It has been recently renovated and done well. It is right on the lake with lots of outdoor sitting and a pier. The staff are all very friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there. The restaurant was nice with delicious food. The reason for not giving 5 stars all across is because the renovation was done to restore to the original so the rooms are small and the bed was not overly comfortable. "This is not a luxury hotel - but this is a great property for getting away from it all with enough room for an extended family! The kitchen is huge and well stocked. Each room has its own window AC and several rooms have their own bathroom. The Dining Room/Sunroom/Living Room layout is great for large groups - we even moved tables around and fit our whole family (20 people) at one long table one night! Don't worry about packing linens and towels (except maybe a beach towel) as that is all taken...

"We arrived at the house late on a Thursday night. No issues getting in and the property was exactly as described. When we awoke Friday morning, we saw how close we were to the Delaware - literally feet away! That was great, though we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors due to tropical storm Debby. The house was minutes from historic (and adorable) Calicoon where we went for meals. It was only 20 mins to Bethel where we caught a show Friday night. Only suggestion is adding utensils, plates and cups....

Nice quick drive to elk mountain where we enjoyed skiing over the weekend ! We will definitely be booking again ! "
