"Excellently located hotel-10minutes on subway to city centre . Room was in good overall condition,towels changed daily Breakfast was limited in selection but enough variety to start the day One thing to be aware of is that the shower is in the room (toilet in separate cubicle) so hopefully you’re not shy if sharing a room!"

Far enough away from the main tourist areas that it was fairly quiet, while also being super close to transport links and also very walkable. The hotel itself is quite unique so if you're expecting a classic hotel layout and design, you won't get that. However, the rooms were clean, had plenty of storage and comfortable beds. "Impressive old mansion on a hill overlooking Vienna. Incredible city views at night and we were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the city in the morning too. The building itself has a checkered history, some of which was disturbing to read about, but the hotel has done a great job of utilising it for a memorable guest experience. Stunning views from the breakfast table and a great buffet breakfast. "
