"This will have to be my most favorite part of my trip to Japan. You will have to intentionally come here for the temple stay. First and foremost, the facility will ONLY ACCEPT CASH payment for the stay. Though my wife and I were not too fond of the shared wash rooms to wash up. I don’t believe the facility has rooms with private wash rooms. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. "We had a great stay! Super clean rooms and very comfy beds. Great communication and a good safe area. Close to trains and grocery store one minute walk away. 10/10 absolutely recommend!"

"Excellent Ryokan that has been well maintained and cared for given its long history. The old facility is evident and yet despite that, provided a cosy stay. The host was extremely warm and welcoming and showed the hospitality as one would expect from a traditional Ryokan passed down from decades old. "I like the antique atmosphere probably because it's an old hotel. Room I rented was clean. Only problem I had there was the wifi, but that's not an issue for me since I can just use my data to access the internet. The closest station is like a 14-minute walk from the hotel which is fine. Overall, I would still recommend it if you are into old hotels."
