"This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay."

"This is only the second stay I've had in a hostel and it was a very nice experience. We ended up getting a room with its own bathroom and a view of the Matterhorn out our window. The room wasn't all furnished (e.g., TV) but it had everything one needed and was spacious for a hostel.
