"Outstanding hotel and excellent service!"

"This is a true Swiss lodge at nearly the top of nowhere. The staff is friendly but it helps to have a little German or French. Be sure you specify exactly what you want in a room..like a shower AND toilet, or you may be sharing. You need to be fit enough to walk up to 4 flights with all your stuff. Our top floor room was lovely with 2 comfy twin beds, multiple windows and even a small sleeping loft (for kids?). Pump hand soap was available but if you want bath gel, shampoo, etc, you should bring...

"The apartment I was given was clean, well equipped and had an amazing view…not sure if this ‘view’ is guaranteed so I will refrain from saying what the view was but you can guess. Couldn’t fault the accommodation we were placed in. Nice to see the apartment block had a quiet time (10pm till 6am) this was respected when we were there so we had 4 good night sleeps. "

"Nice small flat in the mountain village of Antagnod, Ayas valley, with basic kitchen and very good bathroom. The flat is excellent for short stay; since it is a bit small, it may not be suitable for longer stay."

"The biggest disappointment was the distance from Zermatt, our destination. It took us 3 hours one way- 2 buses and 2 trains to change to reach our destination. This results in loss of precious time for travellers, who have a tight schedule. Point de Zinal SHOULD NOT be displayed as a property in Zermatt. It is misleading- EXPEDIA to note please"

"The hotel is owned and operated by a charming family. They are very welcoming with good advice about local events and history. The breakfast room has an amazing view of the town and the mountains. The variety of choices at breakfast is generous. Included in the B & B rate is free admission to the thermal spas including locker rentals and a Leukerbad Visitor's Pass which provides additional discounts to ski lifts, buses, etc and free admission to local cultural events.
