Couldn’t fault the accommodation we were placed in. Nice to see the apartment block had a quiet time (10pm till 6am) this was respected when we were there so we had 4 good night sleeps. "

"The hotel is owned and operated by a charming family. They are very welcoming with good advice about local events and history. The breakfast room has an amazing view of the town and the mountains. The variety of choices at breakfast is generous. Included in the B & B rate is free admission to the thermal spas including locker rentals and a Leukerbad Visitor's Pass which provides additional discounts to ski lifts, buses, etc and free admission to local cultural events. "This is a true Swiss lodge at nearly the top of nowhere. The staff is friendly but it helps to have a little German or French. Be sure you specify exactly what you want in a room..like a shower AND toilet, or you may be sharing. You need to be fit enough to walk up to 4 flights with all your stuff. Our top floor room was lovely with 2 comfy twin beds, multiple windows and even a small sleeping loft (for kids?). Pump hand soap was available but if you want bath gel, shampoo, etc, you should bring...

"The host went above and beyond to be helpful and to make sure we enjoyed and made the most of our stay. The free transpiration pass that was included in our nightly rate allowed us to go up any tram, gondola or take any bus, anytime, as many times as we wanted to for free during our stay. This pass allowed us to enjoy all the Mountain View’s the Saas Valley has to offer.
