The location is on the outskirts of town, but it's possible to walk down the hill and Tiare is there to help arrange a taxi if needed. Lots of things within hiking distance - for reasonably active people. We had booked some guided tours and we also rented a car from Tiare for a couple of days to explore on our own. "This apartment hotel worked well for our short visit to Easter Island. 2 single beds in one room and a queen in one worked well for the 3 of us. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking.
