"The property was in a good location. Being picked up at the airport upon arrival was great. Manager did not speak english and failed to mention that dishes for the kitchen were actually in our room. We were not told in advance about the cultural show. There was only a sign in Spanish on the day it took place, so we missed it. The batheoom was extremely small. No bar soap or shampoo available. Breakfast was prepackaged processed foods. Pretty much the same thing for the entire stay. I thought it...

"The place is very up-scale but casual just like the whole island. It would not hurt having it closer to "downtown" as the 15-min walk to another restaurant down a narrow road with no sidewalk gets tiring after a while. The pool is excellent and so is the service. "

The hostel located at a quiet place and natural garden with some cute little pets walking around us. "We had a good stay. The staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The room, which was one of their newer, better ones was stylish and comfortable. The biggest complaint is that there was a lot of noise from barking dogs and crowing roosters in the immediate surroundings at night (this is probably common at many other hotels on Easter Island, which has a large dog and chicken population). The location, however is close to the park and the shore and only a few blocks' walk from...

"Hotel is a bit run down. Rooms were basic and clean. Person at the front desk was not very knowledgeable. They are a mile and a half from town and the walk along the ocean was nice but still got tiring. Would be good if they had bicycles for rent. They did call taxis for us which arrived pretty quickly except for one that didn't show at all (and guy then had left the desk). Water is not drinkable and hotel only sold small bottles and ran out so there was no water available at all one night...
