"The food ( dinner and breakfast) was beautifully cooked. The homely atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. The staff helpful and the room had everything you need and was clean and tidy. The pub also smile English and I appreciated that it retained that . Nice to have free parking outside the door."

"Our stay was lovely the room was small but adequate and the views as per the description were amazing. Staff at breakfast were lovely and the food was great. Only feedback I would like to provide is improved instructions to the car parking space - suggestion would be to add I-scream as a landmark as to were to turn onto the marina - “black railings” is not clear especially as the drive into the space looks pedestrian (this should also be mentioned). "Hans was very accommodating to facilitate a late check in due to a train delay. Excellent Menu options and breakfast was of a high standard. Room fully equipped with everything I needed. Would recommend and would certainly stay again if back in Paignton. Railway station is less than 10 mins walk and the seafront less than 5 mins very central location"

"Contrary to some reviews i have read about this establishment, we were very impressed! The staff were really lovely and very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean,well appointed and quiet. We ate there both evenings of our stay and i honestly couldn't fault our meals in any way. Simply delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also very good and massive! We will definately be staying here again and i thouroughly,wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone. Well done Burrator inn."
