"We were leery about staying as it appeared to be one of those old time roadside motels but was swayed by the 9/10 rating. The room was fantastic! Totally updated; new drapes, new carpet, fresh paint, bathroom updated! And a great price! Would definitely stay here again. Oh, and a wonderful lady at check in as well. The only negative was the pillows, a little on the flat side for my comfort. "

"Lake Life Retreat 2 was a retreat. Much thought has been put into items needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, nicely located with lake views and a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to many surrounding area activities. We enjoyed our time there and Diana is a great host."

We didn’t realize there were lake views on both sides of the property & you’re on a dead end road, so you really feel like you’re away from things. "It was a perfect getaway for 2. The accommodations were super cute and the tub in the bedroom is huge - a perfect bonus feature. It rained so we grilled, cooked, watched a few movies, took a nap.. it was perfect! Because of the rain we didn’t get to enjoy the bonfire pit, but there was plenty to do in the cottage to entertain ourselves."
