Pet Friendly ~ Lakefront Getaway

Come visit our lake house on the picturesque Lake Wissota. We have 5 lodge themed bedrooms with the ability to sleep no more than 12 people. A bonus room separates the house from the garage equipped with a futon, dart board, and foosball table for a little friendly competition! Large windows showcase the lake throughout the main level never letting you forget you're finally at the lake! Landscaped lawn and "moonlighting" offers multiple areas for yard games and a nightly fire with breathtaking views. A large farmhouse table inside is a great set up for family dinners from the fully equipped kitchen. Fully fenced in yard. Come and relax at your home away from home.

Due to a recent guest having upset the neighbors, we are under heavy pressure to monitor the ongoing noise levels and guest counts. We have monitoring cameras to record the driveway and the area facing the dock steps for, security purposes, as well as to monitor noise volumes and after hour activity. We need to strictly enforce the 10:30 quiet time and ongoing respect throughout the day to our neighbors, in regards to peaceful use. This includes loud barking dogs.

Beautiful Location, and spacious house
It is a spacious 5 bedroom home overlooking Lake Wissota, the host was quick to respond with our questions, and setting up the stay for our Family Christmas get together. Beautiful spacious kitchen that could accommodate our group, and lovely big family room, 5 spacious bedrooms and the game was hit with for the nieces and nephews.

Perfect setting for our group of 11. Everyone in our party agreed that the pictures do not do this place justice. Very clean, well-stocked lake home with plenty of room for everyone to relax. Huge yard out front for land activities and plenty of room at the dock for boats and swimming.

This was the perfect place for a long weekend with extended family - plenty of room inside and out to spread out and relax. The lake is beautiful and the setting was quiet and peaceful. The house is comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. We found everything we needed. We will be back!

Great property, great location. Plenty of room for our group of seven. We’ll stocked and clean with great views of and access to Lake Wissota. Erika was very responsive and flexible to our schedule. Close to Chippewa Falls and Eau Claire. Couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable stay for a family wedding.

Fun Family Getaway
We had a wonderful time at the cabin! Pros: Very specious and clean! We loved the bonfire and the view. The kitchen was very specious and functional! The playroom was great to have and the living room for lots of people and was very cozy! The owner was very responsive and attentive! Will definitely book again!!

Great place for family
We had a great time during a 4 day weekend over Easter. The cabin has 5 bedrooms and lots of living space. The children were even able to have their own bedroom. There is a fence all the way around the property which allowed the children and dog to run free. Erika and Nick were very helpful and were available if we needed anything. Great sunsets on Lake Wissota we may try to come back during the summer.

Overall very good
I think that renters should be made aware of the stairs that must be used to get to the lake. The stairs weren't a problem for our group, but certainly could be if someone has mobility issues.

A wonderful getaway for our annual girls weekend!
We very much enjoyed our stay at the cabin! We were impressed by the updated features the cabin had to offer! Sleeps a ton of people. All 8 of us had our own beds and there was still extra room. The near by surroundings were very easy to get to in a matter of minutes. Erika and Nick were a great couple to work with! They explained things clearly and we didn't hesitate to ask questions during our stay. Quick response time to each concern. This cabin and couple are very highly recommended! Thank you for a great stay!!

Roomy Lake Cabin
Great cabin with lots of room inside and out. We were a multi-generation group (but no one under 30) having a family celebration. We picked the location because we had folks coming from MSP and Madison, as well as flying in from CA and TX. We also appreciated having all those bedrooms and beds. Everything was as advertised. We were too early in the season to really enjoy the lake, but we made use of the fire pit one night to make s'mores. We did quite a lot of cooking and found the kitchen well stocked. There is also a grocery store very close by. All in all a great place!

Wonderful Family Getaway
We were so amazed and surprised with the layout and size of this wonderful lake home. We felt incredibly fortunate this family home was available for us to experience all the fun and beauty of Lake Wissota over Labor Day Weekend. What a treat! Perfect for every age. Kids loved the toys to play with in the family room and sat with sidewalk chalk creating art in the driveway. And the labradors loved frolicking in the huge fenced-in yard. And us adults had a great time grilling out and chatting all night out at the table. We did a nice campfire with s’mores too! It was just perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Awesome
We stayed at the cabin for a week with my family and my in-laws (total of 9 people). Erika met us when we arrived and went through everything and was accessible if we needed her, but we didn't. The location was fantastic, very private yet grocery store was only 5 minutes away, a couple of restaurants/bars very close, the state park was only 15 minutes away and we were only 10 minutes away from downtown Chippewa Falls. The area to swim was very nice with a raft that was only in about 6 feet of water so an adult could almost walk out to it. Very quiet area with plenty of space to relax. The cabin itself has plenty of room for everyone and my kids really enjoyed the Foosball table. The kitchen had everything you needed and there were plenty of towels with a laundry. I would stay here again without hesitation!!

Possibly best for families, not older adults since it is a trilevel with narrow steps
The host was friendly and easily accessible for questions, there were maintenance issues both inside and out. Property definitely in need of updating and improved cleaning and organization in cupboards. Pillows and mattresses in need of replacing. Upstairs toilet not always working even when following owners suggestion - the insides of it need replacement. I would rate this a C- and not recommend to friends.

Excellent Stay
This home was perfect for our family getaway this summer. The home was spacious, clean, super comfortable and to make it even better, it was pet friendly. The host was great, and communication was nice and easy when needed. We were there around the 4th of July, and it was awesome to sit on the dock and watch fireworks for miles across the lake. The sunsets here were also incredible. The home was stocked full of board games for rainy days and had a pile of movies as well. Considering the size of the lake, we decided to rent a pontoon boat one of the days from Lake Wissota Pontoon Rentals (https://lakewissotapontoonrental.com/), and those folks were also fantastic. This was an awesome way to spend one of the days at this home. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this to whomever rents this home after us! If we plan to meet our family again down in this area, I would certainly rent this home again. It was a great little piece of midwestern paradise.
