"Check-in was easy. Desk open 24hrs. The room was small but as expected. Everything clean and decent for the price. We had a shared bathroom of which there were two on our floor and very clean. A basic, budget room and just what we needed. Good location and secure. "

"The stay was great as always and staying in the basement room was much more spacious than other rooms I’ve stayed in. The only one issue is the silly positioning of the shower. The head and stand need mounting on a different wall other wise the water goes out towards the main door. "

"Decent no-frills budget hotel in a very central location. I was in a room on the top floor which was fairly quiet. The room was small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast. Luggage storage free (but no tags, and anyone can access luggage room). Would return."

"This hotel is in a 3 minute walking distance of Paddington Station. If you are getting a morning Heathrow Express train (which departs from Paddington), this is a perfect choice. The hotel staff are very helpful. The tea and milk are plentiful. It's not the Ritz, but it is excellent value for a decent room with bath in central London."

"Honestly, I was apprehensive at first. The staff seemed abrupt and unfriendly on the phone. In person they were very accommodating. The room was clean, nice and warm and spacious enough for what we needed. The TV being a smart TV was great and not something we initially expected. The only downside was the vibration of nearby trains until midnight (Paddington) but on the plus side it's easy access to transport. "
