Due to the construction next door and location I did have an issue with mozzies but the staff were helpful with spraying my room on request. The bathroom drain wasn't 100% effective but was always sorted each morning with house keeping. In terms of value for money, this property was perfect for that."

"Sent a n email to the hotel with no response. A a top line of issues as a list in order to keep this concise - check in was weird as front desk person was in the back on their phone - no water access for 2-3 hours TWICE during the stay. Both times affected schedules and well being during the trip. Took a video of second occurrence - A rat in the tub which was living in the drain, making it unsuitable to use(one of the reasons I booked this room) - the a/c dripping during the first night....

"This property needs serious upgrading. It is old and smelly and even with the best efforts of the cleaner it does not present attractive. Apparently, changes are on the way, but until it happens I would book somewhere else."

"Really lovely place to stay. Great facilities. Very relaxed vibe. Lovely staff. A little tricky to walk anywhere from here so you do rely on getting a grab but the hotel itself is like a beautiful oasis. Really good value for money."

The pool area was great and we loved the little villa kitties who loved to come up to you and say hi. Felt very safe as the property is down a driveway at the end so you were off the main road which was great. Thank you so much for having us ! "

"I would definitely reccomend a stay at Malam Hari. The room was big, airy and had a fresh/boho decor. Everything was really clean and the housekeeping was excellent! The staff were brilliant, i had a couple of questions during my stay and they did everything to help me, and were also so friendly. This was great value and i would stay again. "
