"When we checked in, from outside we thought it would not be a good clean place but we were wrong. The room was very clean. Property was down the strip away from all the traffic and noise but walkable to general tourist area strip. The beach is around the corner. They have a lobby with microwave and fridge that can be used. Plan your day because they will not allow earlier check in than 2pm. We were willing to pay an extra fee but check in time was firm although we’re were the only tourist there....

"I loved Selva Color for a place to stay near Carara National Park and the village of Tarcoles, where you can see the gorgeous Scarlet Macaw Parrots, many other beautiful birds, monkeys, and other wildlife. 10 minute drive. There are Macaws right on the property to squawk their greetings as you check in. The staff was friendly and professional and answered all of my questions in English. The cabin I had was older, but beautifully decorated with the Scarlet Macaw red theme (perfect for me)....

"This is an older property in need of some minor repairs. Everything was in working order and AC worked very well which was nice since it was hot. Friendly and helpful staff onsite. I would go again for a short trip."

"Cool spot right on the beach. I love the. Gazebo. Hot water worked. Air conditioning worked.Fridge worked, safe in room, what else do you need. Probably more of an adult spot Since there was parties happening around until the wee hours of the night. "
