"Cute, renovated hotel in the heart of downtown. Fireplace in lobby was great on a cold night. Staff was friendly and room was comfortable. Bathroom was updated but it took a long time to get less than hot water in the shower. Biggest issue was lack of sound proofing. The room doors open right into the hall (no hall/bathroom buffer like newer hotels) and you can hear every conversation outside your room. We could also hear the alarm of the person across the hall going off for over an hour. ...

"We loved this cabin! After a long day of volunteering with hurricane clean-up, it was nice to stay in a safe, quaint, and beautiful cabin. The driveway into the property was the only reason I did not give the "area around the property" 5 stars. However, I suspect the recent flooding is what made the driveway so bumpy. Overall, it was terrific, though! Ed was a great host!"

"Great house, great view and close enough to Asheville. House is just a short drive from Asheville making visits quick and easy, yet far enough away to enjoy the sights and sounds of rural North Carolina. House is well-cared for and comfortable.....we plan to return!"
