"Didn’t know much about the area but came to meet up with friends from NC since it is about the same distance for both of us (coming from Philly). The house was beautiful. You can tell it has been meticulously updated. There was plenty of space for me and my husband, along with our toddler and my friend and her 4-year-old daughter. Communication was easy and reliable. "We were looking for a quiet, out in the country place to celebrate our anniversary and came across this quaint cabin just outside Monterey, VA. The cabin is cozy, and it worked well for just the two of us. We took advantage of the hot tub which was very well maintained. We also lit up the firepit on another evening while watching the moon rise over the hills. The cabin is just a few minutes from Monterey (which sits in the valley just below the cabin.) Monterey is a small but interesting town...
