"You can't get any closer to the hike for Rio Celeste and it is so much better tonight hike first thing in the morning before it gets too crowded and the animals are all still out! This place was so charming and simple. The staff are beyond hospitable and it feels like you are a guest of a family. The restaurant on site is very good and open until 8pm. "This place is a hidden gem! The rustic cabins are well maintained and clean. A short walk from the cabin and you arrive at the restaurant where the food is amazing and reasonably priced. The hosts were so nice and helpful, making suggestions for our hikes and other options for dinner (although we ate on site 4 times it was so good). Our kids miss Lucky and Domino and wanted to take the puppies home :-) I would definitely recommend!"

"i hope people use this hotel as it appears to be a mum and her daughter making a go of it - and though quirky it is an ok experience. What is a problem is - its in the middle of nowhere and expedia sent me the wrong name. You told me it was called (unusually )HOTEL IN FRONT OF LAKE ARENAL. And it was 15 miles from LA FORTUNA. After driving 45 minutes a kindly restaurant owner called the lady and gave me directions. I would still be looking now - its called LAKE 2 and even that is poorly signed....

"We loved our stay at Tenorio Glamping Ranch. It was just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Laura, the ranch manager was very friendly and helpful. "Alexandra is an amazing host. She was very accommodating, warm and helpful. She even brought us bread and pinto gallo in the morning. LIttle Paradise is well situated and all the major sights (La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Monteverde) are at most an hour drive away. The property is scenic and vast, with a beautiful view of the lake.
