"Ian was an excellent host! He provided a friendly welcome and recommendations throughout our stay. The property itself is incredible - gardens, lake & animals all within the premises. The area itself is convenient - close to Arenal town and about 45-60 minutes from La Fortuna. Would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a tranquil, relaxing stay in Costa Rica. "

"No running water, no electricity, no Wi-Fi and no ac or running fan. If you are heading there from San Jose think twice, it’s a 6-7 hr bus ride at the min. "

"Love this place! A little out of the way, so it's quiet and lots of wildlife to see. Ernesto and Leslie are great hosts, and the staff is helpful. The food is wonderful too. "

"Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours. I loved the upper balcony that overlooks the jungle. We woke up every morning to the sounds of monkeys, toucans and many other birds. At night there was a firefly show that took my breath away! Absolutely would recommend...

"Gorgeous property with beautiful walking trails and lots of wildlife. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Went above and beyond. The house is well equipped and exactly what we were looking for. Bijagua is a quaint little town with friendly people. Car rental would be recommended. Overall an incredible experience. Highly recommend if you want a genuine experience."

Absolutely wonderful!

"Absolutely lovely stay! This adorable A frame had all the amenities you could need! And location was perfect. In the middle of a beautiful jungle but only a couple minute drive to restaurants and shopping. Also very conveniently located for seeing Rio Celeste and other tours.
