This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). The decor is very worn with signs of damage. The carpets are stained. The external area was very overgrown with weeds. The TV remote didn't work and there was no TV ariel connected. "Property is within a private road, with very limited access to visitors. There are a couple of visitors' parking spaces, but those were occupied when I arrived, so I had to park in the nearby public car park. This was free after 6pm, but I had to leave before 9am the next morning to avoid being charged for parking. Other than that, my stay was fine - room was clean and comfortable, and shared bathroom was not an issue, as I think I was the only guest that night."
