"The Pub was well run, multiple areas to eat with family and friends, some areas outside, great for kids, quieter areas inside for a chat and coffee and very good meals. There was Parking for at least over 10 cars at the rear even though the web says there is not. The garbage bay out side in the lane car entry needs a good clean and hose out. All doors in the accommodation need rubber strip silencers to stop them banging / slamming closed and some had to be pulled to actually close as too many...

"The lack of a reception is a major drawback. This was communicated to us but when we couldn't open our door it proved a real issue. After consulting the front entry information we found the missing link to the supplied sms instructions. Our next step was to phone the supplied number. There was no tv remote and no tv controls. Unfortunately a search for it revealed the dirtiness of the room with ping balls(?) under the bed buried in copious amounts of dust. As only staying 1 night no point io...

"Retro style little motel. Easy check in, as we arrived late at night and the room was set up for us to just walk in and collapse. Clean facilities. Within very short drive of a fab cafe - onyx - where we went for a pretty awesome brekky the next day."
