"We traveled as a couple and booked a private room with shared bathrooms. Highly impressed with the level of cleanliness! Overall it's quite, too. The area itself feels safe, and having the station at a 5-minute walk was fantastic. There's a 7-11 at a 3-min walk that's open 24x7. Highly recommend!"

"About a 15-minute walk from Asakusa and a 10-minute walk to the nearest train station is where Palace Japan Hotel is located. The neighborhood is Showa era and on the quiet side. The hotel reminds me of an older motel (well maintained). The staff very welcoming and the bathrooms/showers clean! The room is dated, however it’s a room all to yourself and bonuses include: a small fridge, a large window, and television (stuck on Japanese language lol). Somewhat a walk from the main sites, however I’d stay again for the pluses! "

"Extremely comfortable and easy stay. Very enjoyable and quiet. The room was cozy and with A/C it was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. Staff was kind and helpful. Facilities were shared but clean."
