"Stayed in one of the private rooms with 3 beds (2 on the floor, and one in a loft). Just steps from Motomachi shopping street, and super close to the Minatomotomachi subway station entrance (just across the street). Room was very clean, and I had no complaints about the shared bathroom arrangement. The best part however, is that there is a fantastic laundry place (ストランドリー STLAUNDRY （大型コインランドリー) 3 minutes walk from the hostel that takes card, does a full wash/dry cycle for only 1000 yen. "The building might put you off, but once you get into the floors of the pods it completely changes. Staff was welcoming and easy to talk to. Check and put was smooth and painless. The inside of the pod areas were very clean and well kept. The pods were very spacious and the restrooms were kept clean. Can't say about the other people there, but that's neither here nor there, you can control people. But the company does an excellent job with the property. Highly recommend and will be staying here...

Choice of to types of pods, first class and business class pod. First class is good as you can keep your luggage with you and the bed is slightly bigger. "It is very old. Bathroom tile has been cracking and mold. I did not check when i booked a room as a smoking room so it had a very bad smell and could not sleep good because of the smell of smells. all my clothes smell like tabaco. I can not believe still people needs smoking room. No one smoke inside anymore in USA."

"We paid $270 per night for this hotel. We were given the only room on the entrance floor of the hotel. So all we could hear was everyone coming in and out of the hotel, the lockers being opened up to place ones shoes in in the foyer, the cars on the road (our window was on the street).
