"The Generator is fantastic!! I stayed in one of the pods. If you haven't done it, you have to try it! I slept amazingly well and they are so comfy and cozy! The staff is very helpful and easy going. The breakfast is delcious and not too expensive. Save some $$ and pre-buy your breakfast at the front desk. :) Neat history...fun place...good price!!"

"The hotel is located a 6 minute walk from tram (#5 or #12 I think from Centraal Station) and the same from the Concert Gebouw and only a minute or two longer to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. While the building is a little tired, my room was clean and comfortable. The room was in the basement and had a dehumidifier running constantly. In spite of this it had a musty odor.
