"Pretty typically hostel. Nice staff. It’s all outdoors, on a rooftop, so not sure how comfortable that would be in the summer. WiFi was decent. They had staff continually cleaning the bathrooms and showers. Room was fine, nothing spectacular, or horrible. Really close to the Egyptian museum, not far from a subway stop. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance, even a couple of bars and drinkies next door (one of the few places to purchase alcohol). "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Eileen hotel. The staff were friendly, kind, and always had a smile on their face. I was really surprised about the rooms, walking into the building which looks dated on the outside, the rooms itself is more modern and really clean and the beds are very comfortable. We stayed at this boutique hotel twice, at the beginning of our trip and then came back again towards the middle of our trip. The breakfast is a buffet style spread, and the omelettes they cooked for us...

"We had not stayed a night in the room but good for money what they are charging. Location in the heart of Cairo. All markets are very close to this property. We can go by walk without any problems. The hotel starts from 6th floor but the rest of the building is like a Zombie building!! No one moves around and it's an old building but good condition. Cleanliness we can give 4 out of 10. Staff was very nice & helpful. "
