"Staff was great. Our room was a bit small but others were larger. AC leaked the last few days creating issues and we had an animal in the bathroom fan vent. Made lots of noise in the middle of the night. Pool area was great. Large pier was great. Snorkeling out front was amazing. "

"Puerta Azul is a quaint boutique style hotel with private little cabins. They have a nice restaurant and provide breakfast every morning. Everyone who works there is super nice and friendly. Location is quiet and away from the crowds of the West End. If you want to go anywhere, they provide transportation. The best part was snorkeling right off the dock. The reef was full of coral and fish. They also had free paddle boards and kayaks and you can rent snorkel equipment for $10 for the whole week....

"The Blue Roatan is an amazing experience. The hotel is quiet and serene, surrounded by a jungle and gardens, with shared lounges, decks and pools. The resort is walkable to the busy beaches if that's what you are looking for. The Blue Roatan Beach club serves delicious drinks and food, and has a beautiful pool and beach area. The staff are awesome and happy to help with anything, such as a tuc tuc, or exursions. There are great restaurants that are easily walkable or water taxi to West Bay...

"Lovely grounds with lots of lovely places to sit outside. Very friendly staff person greeted me on arrival. Didn’t like that the purified water ran out and there was no responsiveness to replacing with another bottle, even though bottles were available. Staff member (who showed up about an hour after I had been up and looking for water) offered to take my bottle and fill it for me, but I have already been quite sick with a GI illness and don’t really like anyone else handling my water bottle....
