"My room in Hotel Mayerling was very basic and in need of a coat of paint. That said it was clean, warm and reasonably comfortable, if not overly large. It was cold and wet in Madrid during my stay, so it was good that the room wasn’t cold or draughty. The reception staff are very pleasant and check in was straightforward. "It was great but the downside is you can hear everyone in their room whatever they’re doing, no communal kitchen.The complimentary like coffee they just give 2 sachet 😂😂😂 even I asked for extra he just give me 1 only.😂😂😂. The coffee maker was filthy I have to keep running it out so it will flushed the dirt."

"This place was good to hole up for a couple days and rest. It's a 20 minute bus + 30 minute train from anything worth seeing as a tourist so if you hope to see Madrid this is not the place. It's in an industrial area and the only place for miles around to eat is the hotel bar/ restaurant across the street. Great staff but not great food. No view from the room and a tiny tv like a laptop screen. For €33 a night it was worth having a private room if you wanna get out of hostels for a bit. One...
