"Awesome pool area with 3 different pools including big jacuzzi. Really nice place to stay. BUT Couple of things to be aware of: We were a little unlucky with the reception lady. Could not get any adequate information about dining options. Plenty of options available and really simple. Just seems like reception really didn’t know what’s happening around the place. Tried to extend the stay for a day, plenty of availabilities but could not make it any more complicated. No information in the room...

"Stayed 3 night's @ ocean front 2nd level room with kingbed and balcony. Woke up and went to bed with Gorgeous views of the ocean and was very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay here everytime we are down here for another quick getaway. "

"This hotel is in a great location in Newcastle. It is handy to shops, the harbour, and the inner-city. The hotel is clean and has nice staff. I have stayed here several times when visiting Newcastle."

"This is an older style motel that has been well-kept up. Our room was large and the bed very comfortable with the nicest sheets I’ve seen in a while. The location is surprisingly quiet. There is a garden to enjoy and a really lovely and inviting pool and BBQ area. We would definitely stay again."

"I love QT, always works, and i love the quirky decor and tweaks. QT Gold Coast is my fav hotel in the world, this one is great too! The staff were all super friendly and helpful too... even on Xmas day (Thanks for the cookies!! :))"

"Lovely stay at voco Kirkton Park! We stayed here for one night on a quick trip to the Hunter Valley, and wish we could stay longer. The hotel is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and views, and kangaroos bouncing around the property. Very comfortable room and the breakfast is well worth it! Highly recommend and would stay again. "
