"We had a great stay! When we first arrived, there was a large tarp blowing in the wind near our patio, but it was removed the next day, which we appreciated. Overall, the hotel was clean, safe, and comfortable. As a single mom traveling with two boys, I felt secure the entire time. We walked everywhere or took the trolley, which was super convenient. The hot breakfast was decent and a nice way to start the day. No complaints here—we had a wonderful trip and would definitely stay again!"

"I really enjoyed my experience at the Gatlinburg Inn and appreciate the historic value of the property. However, as with many older properties, I learned that the walls are paper thin. I also learned that the man in the next room had untreated sleep apnea. I guess the upside of that is that I never felt alone! I recommend staying at the Gatlinburg Inn just be aware it’s a bit of a communal experience!"

"It’s an old motel but it was clean. Very convenient because it was right across Ober; our main destination for this trip. Several restaurants were around too that are walking distance. The breakfast was nothing fancy but if you’re on a budget, it will suffice. It was a comfortable stay and I will recommend to anyone. "

"Convenient location close to attractions along the main strip of downtown Gatlinburg. The hotel has free parking which is nice considering parking in that area is expensive. Great breakfast and friendly staff. I'd definitely stay there again! "

"It is in need of some remodeling and upgrades. But the hotel was clean and is an easy walk to downtown. The staff was fantastic. We will stay again. Great hotel if you are wanting no frills. "

"I had a very quiet non-smoking corner room with two queen beds. There is a small balcony on the quiet back side of the main building with afternoon sun, looking to the gondola and mountains. The bathroom is roomy, plenty of hot water, towels. Beds were clean and comfortable, each with three pillows. Microwave and refrigerator. TV with remote and more channels than one needs. HVAC worked like it should and was quiet. Parking is outdoors or in a ground floor garage if there's a spot available....

"For the $50 a night we paid, you can't beat the value. We had a cute little balcony with a view of the mountains, and you're close enough to downtown Gatlinburg to walk, but far enough that the hotel is nice and quiet. The shower will boil you alive if someone flushes, the towels were a little thin, and the hand soap left an oily residue, but it was a great stay for the price overall. For people with accessibility needs--the CleanTV remote doesn't turn on the Closed Captioning. You can get to...
