It is very basic accommodations in wonderful historic looking building which was completely fine except there were no irons or steamers available which we needed to get the wrinkles out of some clothes. Other than that, the staff was very helpful. I had to ship something to the hotel and they kindly received it and handed it to me. It was a busy street but they had soundproof windows! "

There is no personal reception, which we knew when booking, but it was a bit odd not seeing another person there while we stayed. The process to use a door code to get a key box code didn't seem hugely efficient, but we did get in. Our room wasn't dirty, but it was in disrepair. "The interior of the hostel was charming with a lot of character. My room was a decent size with en suite bathroom and had all mimum amenities. The hostel manager Manolo got in touch to ask when I'll be arriving to make sure he'll be there to check me in, which I liked because I had a contact at the hostel who I could easily get in touch with.
