"The hotel is beautiful and I was lucky to get a room right on the canal with a great view. The rooms were well decorated. The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant - there are so many Italian restaurants in that area and this one is supposed to be essentially a new spin on classics but the best part about my meal was the bread - and that's because bread is always good."

"I have been to Hamburg a few times, and this hotel always catches my eye. The name is actually special to me. This trip, I decided to spend a few nights here. The stay was amazing. The check in was quick and the receptionist was super helpful with the layout of the hotel. I had help getting my bags to my room, which was more than helpful. I love the mini bar, well stocked. "Fantastic hotel, right next to St. Pauli football stadium. Really interesting building full of history, great coffee shop on site and restaurant looked good but we didn’t use. Rock shop on site but closed on Sundays so didn’t visit. Great rooms with comfortable bed and fantastic shower (with nice toiletries including separate shampoo and conditioner).
