"I needed a room for one night near the airport in Heraklion, and this small hotel provided that. It was within walking distance to the Europcar car rental (15 minutes), where I went the next morning to pick up the rental car. The area was very safe, very close to a grocery store, and easily walkable. The only negative about the hotel is that it is extremely noisy because of the planes flying overhead, but that seems to be a problem in many parts of Heraklion and even at the beach resorts east...

"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion.
