"We spent 4 nights over Christmas at the property and had a lovely time. It is in a great location to explore the area, close to the motorway, but in a quiet rural area surrounded by fields. The property is well equipped and has a great kitchen with a fantastic oven. We didn't really make the most of the garden due to it being cold and damp but it was nice to have a safe enclosed space for our dog to explore. "We had the most lovely stay at De Hoedenmaker! Pascal was incredibly helpful and generous with his travel advice and area recommendations for food, sightseeing, etc. We had our 6 and 4 year old in tow and the house suited us perfectly. It was stocked and well appointed and very comfortable. Perhaps most of all the location is just ideal - steps from the bustle of the city but tucked in a true residential area. A gem not to be missed. We can't wait to return!"

"Fantastic stay. I was celebrating with 13 other friends. The house was perfect for us, lovely hot tub and games area, kitchen facilities were well maintained with plenty of fridge space. The rooms were very clean on arrival and just as expected. Geert was very accomodating. Taxis for all of us into Ghent would have been €240 however a 30 min walk to the loc train station saved us a lot of money. "

"Spacious (Marquis) lots of space for 3 people. Very close walk to everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Kitchen is well appointed although we ended up only doing breakfasts in our room. Dining room table is large and good for playing cards (seats at least 6 people). Only knock was couch was ok but could have been a little more comfortable- maybe just add some cushions. Had elevator which was nice vs carrying luggage up 3 flights. "
