"Stunning location with wonderful staff and service. The beach is tranquil with fantastic views of Spinalonga and the perfect place to relax. All of the staff go out of their way to help you have the perfect holiday. Only feedback would be to bring your own or buy tennis balls if you play as the balls from the hotel either get taken / lost ... with the balls left being too bad to play. Also... we did a photo shoot with the inhouse photographer... which was amazing! Her shop is downstairs in the basement and very easy to miss if you dont happen to go to the spa! Would be lovely to have this advertised! Otherwise... the PERFECT holiday. Massive thank you to all of the staff."

"An outstanding beach hotel with fantastic staff and service. The food is amazing, offering a delicious variety of Greek cuisine—from the famous Greek salads to fresh seafood and flavorful kebabs. It’s a great choice for an off-season luxury escape with the family. The sports facilities are top-tier, extensive, and exceptionally well maintained—including indoor and outdoor fitness gyms, as well as tennis, padel, football and basketball courts. Lastly, six stars to the entire staff—always friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay."

"Fantastic facilities and great options for all ages. Food quality is fantastic and the main restaurant has themed nights to keep it varied. Most of the food is also cooked fresh in open kitchens which is great. The dining area can be a bit noisy but there’s an adults only area which I’m sure would be quieter. Room was fantastic for us. We had 2 adjoining rooms for a family of 5 and had 4 separate sleeping areas. Staff were great although the bar staff were always stretched resulting in long queues. Water park area is fantastic. Kids loved it. The option of an indoor pool in low season also great if the weather is not great. Beach area is amazing and so are the never ending pool options. The kids club looked great although our kids were probably on the older side so didn’t participate. The play park is awesome. Huge climbing frames and crazy golf all within a secured gated area. Having the tennis/sports centre facilities adjacent to the hotel is also a great option with free table tennis within the sports centre building. Only suggestion is to consider table service as no one wants to spend up to 15mins queuing at the bar. Not really giving 5 star vibes. Was nice to see the hotel manager getting table service though… All in all, we’d likely return. "

"Had an amazing weekend at Palmera! Check in staff was kind and efficient. The bar staff was not attentive, I was often ignored but it didn’t bother me too much as I wasn’t in a hurry. Unfortunately, there were many extra charges and add ons that I was not made aware of. Many guests and I complained about the fact that we paid for all inclusive, yet most things were not included. A bit disappointed about that, a simple note on the property details would have sufficed. Regardless, the food was delicious and the vibes were great! The kitties were my favorite part! I would come back, but only after April 1st, when everything opens for the season. "

"Just had 5 nights at this hotel (late October) and it was wonderful. Busy enough to feel part of something, quiet enough so that there were no queues at all for food (which was plentiful, varied and delicious) and plenty of space in every area (poolside, restaurants, etc). Room was comfy, pools were lovely (if a little cold), sun loungers were plentiful, staff were great (my daughter and I did sunset yoga every day - bliss) and only a 25 minute taxi ride from Heraklion Airport. Deserves every one of it's 4 stars."
