It was cold so we grabbed a blanket from the closet. So stinky with mildew. This room was 108, our previous room was 816, no mildew or complaints. Don’t expect a spa treatment, don’t think too many people order them and when I wanted a facial, they tried to get their staff to work… no takers. "

They helped me when I left my cell phone on the Uber car, they gave me late check out option, arranged restaurant reservation and car service…. "We stayed at Rincón de Puembo on our way to the Galápagos and again when we returned. I highly recommend this hotel. "A beautiful historic hotel, with courtyard where they served a lovely full breakfast, including eggs to order. The location was perfect very close to the historic center. I would advise not staying many blocks more away from the historic center as the neighbourhood changes, but we felt very safe in the day time (with reasonable precautions not flashing wealth).
