"Booked 3 days, stayed 2, bed was like sleeping on the floor and the hotel was a rally drive from the reception, no WIFI and only one restaurant, however, beautiful views"

"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. "We expected the property to be a lot bigger and with much more light/windows as per the photo on the VRBO website. As it turned out, this was a much smaller, dark and rustic house. It is a typical old Spanish townhouse in a small village in a beautiful location. It is not a luxury place in any way. Everything is very old and dusty. "It is a beautiful hotel that is well managed, clean with friendly staff. Our room had the most amazing view of the canyon below which was worth the price alone. The only problem we had was at the breakfast buffet - when we ordered our eggs they brought us very small portions about the size of a table spoon on each plate with nothing else on the plate - and took us a while to even get that. And the staff were rushing around and weren’t very helpful. "

"the staff are excellent - so helpful - the hotel is small and immaculately clean - within walking distance of all of the sights and restaurants - they offer a discounted car parking service - car parks all really close to the hotel - the hotel bar offers the best coffee I have drunk for many years."
