"Charming hotel in a convenient location. We love this place for a quick Joshua Tree trip or a concert at Pappy & Harriet's. It is an older place but our room was upgraded and was so cute - it was The Safari Room. I'm guessing most rooms are upgraded. Anyway, the room was super clean and quiet. I will not hesitate to stay here again!"

"This is indeed a unique property. Lodging reimagined. We had a suite with four queen sized mattresses truly comfortable bunk style and a separate room with a king bed, and an outdoor balcony. The outdoor space is wonderfully landscaped from the area around the pool to the courtyard adjacent the front with landscaped cactus and a fire pit to warm up the cool desert night. Probably best of all are the people who make up the staff - Tessa Sasha Amber Michelle John Sandra Shayne and others who double as baristas and go out of their way to make sure all the guests needs are met. Field Station takes ordinary accommodations and makes them extraordinary. No quest we will be back."

"This house was great, especially the backyard oasis. We were a group of four (two couples 60+) who spent four days alternating between hiking Joshua Tree and exploring the Palm Springs area. While it was a drive to get to each, the house was conveniently located in the middle. We loved having the hot tub to come home to every afternoon. The star gazing in the backyard was also cool. Not dark enough to see the defined Milky Way, but still amazing. We highly recommend Pappy and Harriet’s, as well as The Tiny Pony and the Snake Bite Roadhouse. "

"No microwave and the fact that the cops came pound on the door looking for someone who doesnt live there it was a noce quite stay no one brotheref me besides the cop ho place to unwind "

"We had a great time. The house is beautiful and the pool and hot tub were amazing. The location is perfect! We came to town to visit friends and see a couple shows at Pappy & Harriet’s. This house was perfect for all this. The only thing is we weren’t able to sit in the hot tub at night and enjoy the cooler part of the day due to quiet time outside being 10pm. But we stall and an amazing time and would stay here again. "
