"Front desk clerk MARIA went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us during this stay. I booked this room for my husband and son last minute due to snow and dangerous travel conditions to come back home that evening after they got out of work in Los Alamos so I paid for this room with my card and their policy is to have the card present that room was purchsed with, so of course they did not have my card. Maria allowed my husband in the room and allowed him to get warm after shoveling snow since 4:30 AM and it was now 1PM. She was able to call her supervisor and emailed me a form to authorize them to use my card without me or the card being present. I was very thakful for her generosity because she could ha e refused to let him get i to the room u til that whole process was completed but she has a big heart and she treated us with kindness and understanding. So i want to let this place of business know that she is worthbevery penny and should probably be given a raise because she is one in a million! Thabk you Maria. "

"This is a beautiful area. Camping in a tent does not work for us anymore and this gives access to the wild with the comfort of home. "

"This was our second stay. We appreciate the beauty and tranquil setting of the property and the unusual and original design of the house. Alicia quickly responded when we had a little difficulty finding the property, but this was only a small setback. The house is very well equipped for cooking as well as comfort. There is a well-stocked library with some heavy hitters above and beyond the usual John LeCarre novels found in most places we've stayed. We so much appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us and the sunsets were exquisite from the upstairs balcony. We saw a fox and some deer, and on a previous trip, elk. We can't wait to come back."
