"The property showed on Expedia is very misleading. I booked 2 rooms and paid over $300 per room and it should have been $50 a night. The lobby had no air conditioning. The carpet is old and had a weird smell. The rooms had paint coming off the walls. Everything was old and our bathroom had spiders. We checked in at 11:00pm and checked out the same night at 11:10pm. Very disappointed in this room that we booked for 2 nights and could not get a refund because they said, we had to go through...

"do not stay here if you're western. its a traditional japanese hotel and totally alien. dreadful bedding / beds. smokey. just a waste of money. there's a much better and lower cost hotel right opposite. the building is tatty and generally sooooo disappointing."
