"Overall a great stay. Staff was nice, room was clean and large, bed was comfortable. Public baths were lovely. Dinner was delicious but so much food. I'd stay again. Loved the town, hike up to the shrine, and sake museum next door. "

"This was our favorite part of a 2 week Japan trip. While the onsen’s were great, and amenities were fantastic, my favorite was the location and wilderness. Very remote, with lots and long “2 way road but 1car space” roads before you make it to the hotel which has parking for about 10 guest cars. 10/10!"

"The staff was kind and friendl. Many spoke enough English to help me out. The food was delicious. And the rooftop hot tub was a dream. The hallways and room are a little muggy at first, and the smell of wood is strong, but once I turned down the ac and spent enough time it was all fine. "
