"Elmer's Hideout in Yosemite was fantastic. It was recently renovated and was spotless. It felt like home. It had extra touches like welcome boxes for kitchen and bathroom needs. It also included kitchen extras such as spices, oil and great cooking pans and utensils. Another nice touch were books about the park and hiking. They also had board games to help pass the time. Because cell service is spotty in the park, the condo had connectivity through Starlink for the TV and phones. Being located in the park made it a quicker trip to the sites. Prior to our visit, when I asked a few questions, I received quick, friendly responses. I would highly recommend Elmer's Hideout through Grand Welcome!"

"The property is about 15 minutes away from the breathtaking tunnel view—best you’ll get for larger parties. Amenities were great, kitchen is upgraded and nice. Beds and showers were ok for evening and mornings preparing for and recovering from adventures in the park. Great place!"

"Very nice place, had everything we needed. Had trouble finding the room number in our reservation once we got there. Lack of cell service made that even more difficult! The owners answered the phone right away to help out though."

"The actual place is great.  Beds comfortable, kitchen good, fun pool table.  5 stars.  You need to understand the location.  If you are booking in the height of summer, ignore this paragraph!  The unit is inside the park and at a high elevation.  If there is ANY snow, it is a challenge to get to.  Chains are very often required (and necessary).  The driveway is a particular challenge although someone was working hard to keep it clear.  One day we left the park valley floor at 5 and there was a ranger at the Wawona Exit from the valley who simply said "There are accidents on the road.  It is closed for a few hours."  This wasn't reflected on the telephone message for the park, nor the boards.  Just a ranger blocking off the road.  Note that our visit was in April, the week before it had been 60 degrees in the park.  April snowstorms are REAL.  We still had a great time and would totally recommend the unit.  Just know the location!"

"Specious place everything describe like the photos. We visit in March total of 7 adults and 2 children lots of place for my 2 years old to run around. 2 large patios to enjoy outdoor view. This place is fully equipped with things you need to cook for 10 people and has children’s plates and bowls. When we first got there there were a ft of snow cover the parking and walk way to the front door. This area has poor reception for both T-Mobile and Verizon in order to contact the host I had to walk in snow to get into the house. Once I found the host respond was quick and someone come clean up the snow with in 30 min. Google map told us we arrived much earlier then where the property located so keep going downhill you should be able to find the property. Overall great place. "
