"Arrived after dark and found the house decorated withXmas lights. Entered to a Xmas tree and decorations with the heat on and it felt SO cozy. In the morning with sunlight we discovered we were on the top of a mountainand the house felt like a tree house. A special place indeed! Lots of places were near by including Yosemite.A great place to create family memories. Thanks"

The open space in the kitchen living area was nice to be able to cook and be close to everyone. The overall appearance of the home was well decorated and just beautiful. "The Red Barn Inn is a wonderful little cottage to stay in. Whether you are resting up from the chaos of life, wish to hike around local trails, wander through the adorable town of Mariposa or visit Yosemite. I have enjoyed every moment here. Every area of the home is stocked with anything you need to have a comfortable stay. John and Lisa are a delight and I plan to return as soon as I am able."

"Owners obviously deeply care for their property, it’s apparent in all the details of the home. It’s so well stocked that anything you think you may have forgotten - the house probably has it!! The view is spectacular, we enjoyed many nights on the deck. The rooms are very comfortable, so nice to have so many king beds. "Easy entry to south end of Yosemite, being able to do laundry was so nice! The bed was very comfy and we grilled 2 nights. Really enjoyed our 4 nights…The garbage policy was a bit confusing and a couple steak knives would have been appreciated. "

"Our family (with two kids, 18 and 16) scheduled a long holiday weekend at this listing. The house was exactly as described. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Within a five minute walk was a small general store, several places for meals and lovely areas to walk. It is very close to Yosemite. Everything about this weekend was relaxing and easy. Everything we needed was close by, and the property itself was fantastic! If we are in the area again, we will not hesitate to reserve this...

"Property was in a great location for hiking several trails and historical significance and a short drive to access Yosemite National Park. The two fireplaces were very nice to have. Plenty of available sleeping, gathering areas and large dining area. Only downsides were no response from property manager about the lack of heat in primary bedroom/bath and a refrigerator that would not keep food cold or frozen. "
