"We had a fabulous stay at the Grand Hyatt. Very clean and comfortable. It is attached to a shopping centre so really handy for shops and restaurants. It is so close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden city/Palace museum. We ate in the Grand Hyatt taste of China and the food was outstanding. The breakfast was good with excellent choices. Plenty of western food for those that wanted it. I will definitely stay again if we are back in Beijing in future. "

Excellent customer service, no matter who you speak to or what time of day you make a request. The only minor downside is that the hotel rooms are a bit dated, and depending on where your room is, you can hear the noise from the street (mostly just people talking loudly from outside the mall or street). "Great stay at the Valley Wing. Staff very nice and helpful. General Liang is so thoughtful and kind. I was having my birthday and she even sent a cake to the room. The new airport sendoff service is a godsend. It includes a staff member at the airport carrying your luggage to the counter and helping you get the boarding pass. I’ll use that service next time I visit for airport pickup, too. The hotel is a little old. We all know that. But the staff and service at the Valley Wing sparkle. "
