"A perfect little gem of a hotel right in the centre of the hutongs. Very clean and welcoming with superb service from their staff (who speak English). The hotel is like a little museum to Chinese shadow art with so much information, examples and a library. An added bonus was the actual shadow art performance and demonstration by the puppeteer. "

"If you book thtough wotif you need to be able to print your booking confirmation in Mandarin as the staff do not understand any english. Fortunately i had my chinese son in law but it still took over 30 minutes to confirm actual booking and price quoted. "
