"Highly recommend this hotel as the front desk staff were super helpful. As we did not get the local contact number, booking of places and dinner reservation were kind of difficult where the staff (did not managed to get the name) went thru the whole trouble to help us. It is also super near to 王府井 shopping street where the popular shopping (like Nike, Adidas as well as branded brand) can be seen and found there. It is also walking distance to 故宫 and 前门大街. Do take note when getting Didi as their sister hotel 天伦皇朝 is just next to it where driver will mistaken both hotel. This hotel Chinese name is 天伦松鹤大酒店. "

"A relatively new hotel that is still in excellent condition (as of March 2025). I dare say that it was probably the best aspect of my visit to Xi'an. The room was spacious, clean and very modern. Basic amenities like bottled water and fresh room slippers are provided daily and water is placed by the elevator on each floor to take as you please should you need extra hydration. The location is also perfectly central to major in-town attractions like the Bell Tower and the city wall which is accessible by a 20 minute walk to the south gate. Transit is just outside the property doors and ride hailing drivers can pick you up on the adjacent street as well. The desk staff and on-site tour agent were all friendly and helpful with requests. One thing to be aware of however is that tours you book via the on-site agent will possibly come with additional charges once you are on transportation. The fees in some instances only cover round trip transport to and from the attraction sites and may not necessarily include entry or other costs. The tours are also not English-speaker friendly and are only really suitable for Mandarin speakers. Overall, an excellent hotel with fresh facilities and good staff. "

"We had an excellent stay in the Conrad Beijing. It’s well worth the price, and everything was pretty affordable for someone from England (the same hotel in London would be over £3,000 for eight nights, as opposed to around £1,000 in Beijing!) Even the minibar was cheap - a coke was £1, compared to €15 in Croatia. The lovely restaurants and bars were also surprisingly inexpensive, though much less so than more pedestrian places elsewhere in the city. The hotel is not particularly near to any tourist attractions, but it is easy to reach these as transport is dirt-cheap in Beijing (a matter of pence, or a couple of pounds for a taxi). So relatively long distances feel much shorter, and the hotel is near to a couple of underground railway stations. The room was exceptional, with all sorts of bits and bobs to imbue it with that extra feeling of luxury. It was thoroughly cleaned everyday, which was very pleasant to return to. The room was also HUGE. The hotel has some nice facilities, although be prepared for quite a serious swimming pool experience, replete with a swimming cap mandate - and no messing around! My only complaint was the distinct lack of English-speaking staff, which was less of a problem for me, (the missus is Chinese). Others may struggle to communicate, though. While alone, a waitress presented me with a translation stating simply ‘period’ - I assume she was asking whether my ‘age’ was requisite for buying alcohol (I’m a rather babyfaced 20-year-old!)"
