"We really enjoyed the location of the property - very easily walkable to Oxford city centre (either on a pavement by the main road or along the river) - around 10-15mins but in a quieter and secluded location. Taxi took 10mins from the train station despite a bit of traffic (£6). Staff were very helpful as attentive, room was spacious with double aspect. Swimming pool was much smaller than expected and the changing areas could do with a bit more frequent cleaning (I was surprised that people...

"A nice hotel, about 25 min walk (or bus ride) from the city centre. Rooms were comfortable, the double bed was quite small but fine for one person. Breakfast was good value with a range of hot and cold options. Parking was available (for an extra fee) but it was a good base for a weekend away."

"My partner and I recently stayed at Horwood House Hotel for a Valentine's Day getaway. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful, green setting, offering a quiet retreat perfect for a romantic break. They were nice enough to upgrade for special Valentine's Day£30, which included petals on the bed, strawberries, and a glass of champagne. BUT we only got the petals.
