"The cabin is beautifully furnished, well stocked and very cozy. The waterfront views were beautiful and nice to look out at while playing cards or eating breakfast at the dining room table. We traveled during the day to visit friends and sight see as the time of year was too cold for water sports. During warm weather this is a spectacular property for swimming and kayaking. Sunsets were beautiful along with the foliage and Northern Lights using our phone cameras. Eva was very accomodating!"

"Place was great. Lots of privacy! It was so quiet especially at night as we had cocktails on the deck. Made our 38th anniversary special. Did some fun stuff.Lands End store at end of Bailey Island and beach. Cooks lobster House. Cabot Antique mall and flea market in Brunswick. Had the best blueberry pancakes we ever had at the Kopper Kettle. Popham Beach topped everything off! talked with David at the end of the trip and hope to rent from him again! "

"Me and my husband absolutely loved this cottage and the setting. Frye Island is such a cute place and we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back. It was a 15 minute walk to the ferry and store where we got picked up for a fishing charter. The beaches on the south and west side of the island were absolutely beautiful and I wish we could have spent more time there. 1.5 baths and plenty of space, very private setting at the cottage really help us enjoy our stay."

"Great escape from the typical tourist areas. Very zen. Close by the lake with a pier, canoes and kayaks for use if you wish. Sit in the adarondak chairs at sunset and listen to the loons calling. Then go back and enjoy the screened porch and the peace. Drive to Portland, Freeport, or Kennebunkport, then back to relaxing evenings!"

We stayed at this property before under different owners and the improvements that the new owners made were amazing and we will be back next year for sure! The location is perfect, the home was beautiful, very clean, had all the necessities and the beds were super comfy. You can tell that they really value their property and their guests. "Upon arrival the cabin was very clean and well equipped. Quaint and cozy spot for 4 adults, an infant and a toddler. Was not directly on the water as we thought; 30 second walk down a path to the beach /backyard of the owners property. The lake is crystal clear, and views were awesome. Lakeside amenities available, such as sand toys, adirondack chairs, canoes, non-motor boat, and a floating raft, and fire pit. One drawbacks was the quality of the beds weren’t the best.
