"This is a traditional house, very nicely renovated. The best thing is the delightful terrace with a lovely view. This is where you have a very nice, very well presented breakfast. We were rather disappointed with our room. Although spacious it was far from luxurious and we had problems with the plumbing twice in 9 nights. Yaiza is a very quiet little town and for a better choice of restaurants it is easy to drive to El Golfo or Playa Quemada, both by the sea."

"We loved the hotel and its location and the service was excellent throughout (especially Jose on the desk and Paloma in the World Cafe). What will prevent us from coming again or recommending the place however was that although the breakfast choice was excellent the buffet food for dinner that we'd paid dearly for on half board was not four star at all but three star at best. There was never enough fish or other choices for non-meat eaters and the choices were too repetitive, especially the...
