"Had a lovely week at Caybeach Sun, a good location away from the main part of town but within easy walking distance of the beach, bars and resturants. Well laid out, basic accommodation (but had everything you needed) it was a bit tired looking BUT excellent value for money. The staff were always friendly and the "supermarket" on site was very useful. They did charge a "deposit" a couple of euros for an extra key, TV remote, safe and air conditioning - we didn't bother as it wasn't necessary."

"This is a traditional house, very nicely renovated. The best thing is the delightful terrace with a lovely view. This is where you have a very nice, very well presented breakfast. We were rather disappointed with our room. Although spacious it was far from luxurious and we had problems with the plumbing twice in 9 nights. Yaiza is a very quiet little town and for a better choice of restaurants it is easy to drive to El Golfo or Playa Quemada, both by the sea."

"Great 3* all inclusive, good value for what you pay. Brilliant team of entertainment staff really great for the kids. Good selection of food and again for a 3* it’s fine and what you’d expect, lots of variety and options throughout the day at the snack bar too. Rooms a bit basic and shower flooded each time we used it but the room on the whole was clean and hygienic. Comfy beds and pillows! "

"Good breakfast. Good advice about activities for the day. Didn’t use pool as was a bit chilly. Yaiza itself is very sleepy. Not many places to eat- we went to El Golfo for dinner. Quiet B&b, v comfy bed. Simple change for owners to make would be to update bedlinen which may add touch luxury. "

"This was our second trip to Lanzarote and we decided to go to the southern tip of the island. On the map it looks a long way but by car its only 35 minutes from the airport and I couldn't recommend it enough for families and older people who might find Playa Del Carmen for instance as a bit too lively.
