"The property was lovely and our room was great however it was a bit out of the way/secluded and you had to walk a fair distance along a road that had some dark areas to get to a ZR bus stop. Also the ocean was quite choppy in front of the property. We love to swim in the ocean but needed to walk up to Sandals area to swim as they have a breakwater. Still wasn’t totally calm there either. "

"The Soco Hotel was a small intimate hotel with a great location! We enjoyed the boardwalk that was directly located behind the hotel along the water. It was very safe, walking distance to restaurants, malls and other beaches. The staff, service and food were exceptional! The online photos were deceiving as the rooms and washrooms were smaller than expected. We found the cleanliness was not to hotel standards. Overall, experience was great! "

"The hotel grounds were lovely and the food at all meals was excellent. However, the majority of staff had a poor attitude and overall service was poor. Our room was in need of refurbishment, especially the bathroom, where we needed to call out maintenance on three occasions in six days. The hotel was quite isolated with no where nearby, although the free shuttle service was fairly frequent during the day."

"Ocean Spray Apartments was one of the most amazing stays we had at Barbados. The view to the Ocean was fantastic, we rented a studio room and were not left disappointed. "It was not too big, food was good, staff was very nice and helpful in all areas. The room was clean and we did not spend much time there we spent the days on the beach which was what we liked, with the barriers of coral it allowed us to have a calm area to stay in the water. My husband was snorkeling out there daily. Shower could have some type of shelf, and doors of rooms slam loudly so if you’re not an early riser you do hear them. Sizzles and the Japanese restaurant were very good and the buffet was also good. Not much in town or we did not find the right area. We did a taxi tour with George and he was very knowledgeable and showed us all the island highlights . The Island buses are quite the ride if you are looking for and island experience. Special thanks to Emerald for keeping us supplied with water and towels! "
