"Strategic place, convenient and smart "

"Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

"We’ve just had a great 4 night stay at this very comfortable and modern converted barn. The view from the balcony through the double bi-fold doors is extremely relaxing with donkeys, cows, horse and pheasants in the adjoining fields and paddocks. Although rural, Whitchurch and Wem are just a short drive for amenities. Parking is behind a private gated entrance. Highly recommended - in fact we’ve already booked a return visit."

"It was good for what we needed"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Smithy. The location was great & we had fun taking our 1 year old son to Trentham Monkey Forest & Amerton Farm. The only real disadvantage was that all the kitchen cupboards were low down & our son loved to play with them & their contents! But aside from having to keep a close eye on our son, the accommodation fitted our needs & we'd consider coming again next year"

"The house is good but it was not very clean. The entrance looked like it hadn’t been swept in 6 months. The trashcan outside was full. One of the sheets was stained. One of the showers was clogged. They only left us 1 trash bag for the whole week. The house is good it’s just a shame they don’t clean it properly. I did send pictures of the house and did expect them to send some one toast least clean the entrance. But they never did. "
